Sneads First United Methodist Church wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy, outreach activities, and sharing the love of Jesus our church works tirelessly to contribute their part to the greater good.

What We Do
At Sneads First United Methodist Church, our mission is to bring people together to experience God’s love and grace. We are a community oriented and family friendly church, dedicated to encouraging and inspiring each other to grow in faith and love.
We strive to help where help is needed, through the simple act of a cup of coffee to coordinating and delivering disaster relief supplies. Our goal is to serve our community while witnessing through word and action who Jesus is to each of us.
Disaster Relief

Community Assistance
Helping those affected by life circumstances and those affected by natural disasters.
We are a donation collection point for disasters along the Gulf coast and neighboring areas. Delivering the supplies to the Main drop off locations. We also try and help our local community when individuals in need ask for assistance. That help comes in a multi-point effort to find the supplies, connect them to the right agency, help with emergency needs, provide a listening ear and a shoulder to lean against while they work to remedy the issue. The Church also participates in Toy drives and Clothing drives to help out students in our community
Community Outreach
From Friday Night Game nights in our fellowship hall to serving Free coffee Monday Mornings Sneads First seeks to engage our community and share the Love of Jesus freely. We also try and help out the area schools by sponsoring various sports teams, helping raise funds for students in need, Dropping off care packages for the High School Students and so much more. All these things are just our way to encourage others, and share the Good News.
